This microscope slide of cancellous or spongy bone, shows the trabecular disposition of this type of bone tissue. Note the presence of osteocytes immersed inside the bone matrix and osteoblasts surrounding the trabecula.
Between trabecular bone, we can observe the presence of the bone marrow, showed by a large amount of different cell types related by hematopoyesis.
